Hallo Hans,
wirklich schade, dass dieses Naturschauspiel so kurz war.
Um so erfreulicher, dass einige von uns Zeit und Gelegenheit gefunden haben solche Winteraufnahmen zu fotografieren.
Doch der Winter ist ja noch nicht vorbei...

@Rolf: The shed has only been here since "Kyrill," before that it was located on the Belgian coast...

Where the shed will fly to in the next storm depends entirely on where the winds blow! ;-)

Yes Hans, definitely. I just wonder what would happen if the shed stood here near the Elbe and a strong flood came. Then it would certainly float away. Since we've already discussed the shed so much, it surely won't be long before someone here asks what might actually be inside it.

Yes, Rolf, it’s been a long, very long time since the radio station! I was also a big fan.
As for the contents of the shed, I have to disappoint you: as far as I have seen, it is empty!
Now about the flood: The Alzette may not be as large as the Elbe, but there are floods in this valley several times a year as well. About one kilometer away as the crow flies, the new highway runs. It crosses the entire valley on pillars so that it is not constantly flooded.
Finally, a note: I wouldn’t have thought that an old, crooked shed would get so much attention. ;-)

Hallo Hans, vielen Dank für den lieben Kommentar. Die Bilder sind auf unserem Hausberg Les Pléiades entstanden. Er ist 1348 Meter hoch. Bei uns unten im Tal liegt auch kein Schnee. Wir sind nur auf 620 Meter Höhe. Dafür ist die Landschaft weiss vom Frost.
Wir wünschen euch auch schöne Weihnachten.

Thank you very much for the kind comment. We spent 10 days in Switzerland in the summer, had wonderful weather on 7 days, and luckily also on the day we were at the Gornergrat.

We were already in the "real" Switzerland! Not only did we have good weather at the Gornergrat, but also on the Rigi and at the Kleine Scheidegg. As proof, I will upload pictures from there soon.

Thank you for the positive feedback.
I was very lucky with the weather: It is very rare for the Matterhorn to be visible without clouds for such a long time. As you can see in the southern part, the Matterhorn also magnetically attracts clouds even in good weather conditions.
