Hello Marina,
you brought beautiful photos from Cornwall. As is easy to see, you had much calmer and nicer weather during your visit to the island than we did last year.
Best regards, Christine

Hello Helmut,
we were in England for only the second time. After 3 days with friends in Bath, we spent a week in Cadgwith, a small fishing village on the Lizard Peninsula... simply dreamy. We rented a thatched cottage from the 16th century, right by the harbor and filled with antiques and quaint accessories. The many fishing villages in Cornwall are fascinating, and I love the sea pink and clover carpets along the breathtaking coastline. Soon, I would like to visit England or Ireland during the heather bloom.
Best regards, Marina

Hello Marina,
nothing spectacular to see, just everyday things and yet wonderfully captured and executed by you. That is what I call high photographic art.
Best regards.

Thank you very much, Julian.
In the meantime, I was also able to identify the flower... it is a Balkan anemone.

Hello Christine,
thank you. The Ring of Beara is truly a dream. Unfortunately, I probably won't be traveling to Ireland this year. Instead, Cornwall is on the agenda in May and finally Turkey again in late summer.
Best regards, Marina

Hello Marina,
a very beautiful shot. I was there once in 1997, a mill has always been in operation as a museum. At that time, it was said that the others serve as a safety reserve in case the electric pumps fail. The land lies one meter below sea level.
Best regards, Karl

Hello Jan & Karl,
thank you very much for your kind comments. Holland is already a wonderful country, but Kinderdijk far exceeded our expectations... a dreamlike spot on earth. We want to go there again in September. The mills are supposed to be illuminated at night then.
Best regards, Marina

Dear Marina! I haven't fully scouted the ring yet. This image will be the reason I take more time for it next time.

Hello Hans-Jürgen,
you can easily drive past this access road very quickly, that happened to us at first as well. However, the little detour towards Dunboy Castle Hotel is worth it. Personally, I didn't like this grandiose building, but the immediate surroundings and the coastline there are a dream. Exploring Ireland is a small lifelong task. The country is intoxicating in its diverse beauty.
Have a nice Sunday, Marina

Dear Marina!
Unfortunately, during my trip, I didn't really have the opportunity for extended hikes due to having a small child. I would be very interested to know where this picture was taken. I love places like this, and the photo is simply fantastic.

Hello Hans-Jürgen,
I took the photo looking down into the valley from the Galway Bridge. This is the small, old bridge on the
N71, which you cross when driving from Killarney to Kenmare. Right after the bridge, there is a sharp right turn, where on the left side stands an old church... so still before the small ruin and Ladies View. We were able to park easily at the church. It was less than 50 meters to the bridge. On the sides of the bridge, there were small descents, allowing easy exploration of the nearby surroundings. We often lacked time as well... theoretically, we could have stopped every 100 meters. The region is simply breathtaking.
Best regards, Marina
