Welch ein idylisches Plätzchen, Christine.
Gefällt mir bestens, genauso wie Deine wunderschöne Aufnahme davon.

Hallo Mario,
ein herrliches Bild dieser interessanten Felsformationen.
Der Wanderweg sieht ja recht schwindelerregend aus.
Gefällt mir ausgezeichnet.
Liebe Grüße nach Aachen

Hallo Jeanny,
Mario

Exactly Jeanny, finally!
Great picture of this wildflower in the grass, right now nature is literally exploding and showing us its diversity.
Greetings from Aachen,
Mario

Yes Mario, it is finally here.
It is truly a joy to walk through nature every day and discover new flowers again and again.
The work in the garden could finally begin as well. Hopefully, we can take great pictures of our crops again this year.
I am very glad that you like the shot of the flower we happened to discover.
Best regards to Aachen

sehr sehr schönes Bild der Kaskaden, die Bäume passen perfekt zum Gesamtbild.
So schöne Bilder sieht man leider nicht oft.

Trees and the Harz! Fred's favorite subject ;-) That really catches the eye and you captured it well. It's nice to see something from my old homeland again.
Best regards from Denmark

Simply great. But let's be honest. You can't just get there that easily. When did you set out in the morning for this shot?
Fred Hahn 5.4.2013 18:03 5.4.2013 18:03
Hello Andre! Thank you very much for your lovely comments! As far as I remember, I left my apartment here at around 4:45 AM, and the sunrise was just before 7:00 AM. The hike through the pitch-black Bodetal alone was beautiful, and then the morning glow – breathtaking... Thanks to you...

And now it is a historic shot! The ski jump is gone, the summit has lost its trademark!
Fred Hahn 22.2.2016 23:51 22.2.2016 23:51
Thanks, André! Yes, the summit of Wurmberg is somehow disfigured, if not castrated. I hadn’t seen it that way before; I used to think the other way around, that those strange structures like ski jumps, observation towers, transmission masts, etc., disfigured the natural character of the mountains. Now that the ski jump is gone from Wurmberg, I feel differently – the mountain is missing something. Hopefully, the observation tower, which is supposedly planned, will be built. Without it, a visit up there doesn’t make sense; the summit is forested, and without the tower, you don’t get the great view you can have on clear days up there... Best regards

Christine, looking at this photo gives me a lot of joy!
I was actually supposed to be in your homeland this week. But I am still stuck in dreadful Denmark. I hope that after Easter I can finally be back at beloved La Dole :-)

Hello André,
thanks for your comment.
As you have probably noticed by now, the weather here is not much better than in gloomy Denmark.
But it is slowly getting better as soon as the wind finally changes...
Regards, Christine

Hallo Jiri,
schöne Bilder aus einer wunderbaren Gegend, leider hast Du sie falsch eingeordnet.
Elbogen und Karlsbad liegen in Nord-West-Böhmen, das Riesengebirge ca. 200Km weiter nord-östlich,
also unter Böhmen wäre richtig.
Gruß rainer
