such storms occur two or three times a year. The wind was even stronger than it appears in the photo.
Actually, I wanted to take photos from the landing stage, but wind and water prevented me from accessing it.

But you made a small mistake. The wine villages along the Saar are all already located in Rhineland-Palatinate.

The photos were taken during a boat trip, and back then we didn't pay much attention to documenting the location details. We have now moved the photos to the correct category.

Since the image hardly had any color tones, I decided to go with black and white, which perhaps emphasizes the mysteriousness even more. There is nothing major to hide, but fog images do stimulate the imagination. ;-)

Unfortunately, the sun was only very sparse during the time when the snow cover spread over Luxembourg. Therefore, it was almost a stroke of luck to be able to observe this beautiful sunset.

Since this wonderful area is right on my doorstep and I know it very well, I can only recommend a drive on the Alsace Wine Route, preferably in autumn during the grape harvest, a wonderful landscape with many sights to see in the villages!

after the weekend storm and snow down to the valley, the vineyards quickly turned yellow and now glow golden in the autumn sun. On the Rochers-de-Naye, however, winter has already settled in comfortably.
