the idea had been there for a while, but unfortunately the chairs were always occupied. This was the first day of the season when no one was there at this time.
The camera was quickly ready and the idea finally realized.

Instead of photographing the Baltic Sea "bare," I chose the view through the pergola to give the sea a fitting frame, so to speak.

The island of Rügen indeed offers so many beautiful subjects that we certainly wouldn't have gotten bored.

it's nice to see pictures of the chalk cliffs "from above" as well. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to hike through the national park. Therefore, we took the lake route and photographed the beautiful coastline "from below".
Your pictures are also very impressive and invite one to take the high cliff hike.

Yes, Helmut, it is indeed a beautiful, peaceful spot. Next to the mill, there is an excellent small restaurant with a lovely terrace, where you can wonderfully end the day.

Lavender is one of my favorite plants. The butterfly liked it very much too, but it had actually already flown on. Just at the moment I wanted to take the photo, it came back.
