Guten Abend Hans,
dank deiner gelungenen Aufnahme kann ich nun den Aletschgletscher auch einmal von der bernischen Seite her sehen. Normalerweise sehe ich den Gletscher immer nur von der Riederalp (Wallis)aus.

das auch für uns einer der Gründe, dass wir morgens um halb 7 in Spiez weg gefahren sind, um in Ruhe die schöne Aussicht auf den Aletschgletscher von dieser Seite zu genießen.

Ja Stefan, dazu würde er sich hervorragend eignen, aber ob er bis nächste Weihnachten noch da steht?
Etwas weiter unten im Alzettetal gibt (oder besser gab) es einen ähnlichen Schuppen, welcher mittlerweile zusammen gebrochen ist.

Maybe the cranes were hoping for a warm winter and wanted to save the travel money. Now they are probably a bit frustrated but have still set off to the south.

Yes Christine, I also thought the cranes had long since gone, so I was all the more surprised when I heard their cries that day and managed to get outside with the camera just in time.

Not much went wrong, there are still two empty glasses on the tray and they also wanted to be filled. ☺
