Tree canopy walkway in Hainich National Park. Thuringian Forest in September 2019.
Wonderful this circular walk among the treetops, especially beautiful in autumn.
Anyone who also wants to catch a magnificent view over the national park can do so from the observation tower.

The Borsteler Grube near Bispingen in the Lüneburg Heath. Mid-August 2019.
Besides the famous Totengrund near Wilsede, this is another depression in the Lüneburg Heath. However, it was created by humans. Sand was extracted here. Today it is a remarkably beautiful heathland area.

Typical vegetation of the heath, the birch in the foreground, surrounded by the golden/yellow grass of the wire grass. Adjacent to it, the brightly intense color of the common heather. The evergreen junipers complete the picture. A blue sky should not be missing, and if there are no heath sheep, then at least some fluffy clouds ;-)
