Hello Andre! Thank you very much for your lovely comments! As far as I remember, I left my apartment here at around 4:45 AM, and the sunrise was just before 7:00 AM. The hike through the pitch-black Bodetal alone was beautiful, and then the morning glow – breathtaking... Thanks to you...

Thanks, André! Yes, the summit of Wurmberg is somehow disfigured, if not castrated. I hadn’t seen it that way before; I used to think the other way around, that those strange structures like ski jumps, observation towers, transmission masts, etc., disfigured the natural character of the mountains. Now that the ski jump is gone from Wurmberg, I feel differently – the mountain is missing something. Hopefully, the observation tower, which is supposedly planned, will be built. Without it, a visit up there doesn’t make sense; the summit is forested, and without the tower, you don’t get the great view you can have on clear days up there... Best regards

Als ich 15 Jahre alt war, hatte ich die Möglichkeit (bei ähnlicher Sonnenaktivität 1988) im Rahmen der Astro AG an meiner Schule solche Beobachtungen zu machen. Heute versuche ich nur die Ergebnisse der Koronalen Plasmaausbrüche anhand von Polarlichtern zu fotografieren. Was mir hier in diesem Netzwerk so leid tut, ist die Tatsache, dass jede, blöde, rote Lokomotive kommentiert wird, aber so ein Leckerbissen, der mit sehr viel Mühe fotografiert wird, untergeht:-(
Ich habe eine Bitte. Mach weite mit deinem Fotookular! Ich habe auch drei Wünsche. Was mich damals begeisterte war die Betrachtung des Jupiters mit seinen Äquartorwolken, der Saturn mit dem Ring und einfach nur der Mond. Kannst Du das mit deiner Optik fotografieren. Das wäre noch mal toll.

Schengen liegt im Tal aber die Richtung stimmt. Sehen kann man das AKW in Cattenom und den Sendemast von RTL in Dudelange.

dann schliesst sich im Grunde ein Kreis, es gibt im Ösling einige Stellen (z.B. Bourscheid, Grevels), dort können wir auch das AKW von Cattenom und den Sendemast in Dudelange sehen.

Ich hätte es aber eigestellt unter Städte-Fotos-Bauwerke-Sendeanlagen, da passt es besser zum Thema, das andere Foto von Dir von dem Sendemast ebenso.

@rainer: Wir wohnen ja nur einige hundert Meter vom Sender entfernt und daher habe ich noch ne Menge an Photos, die auch wieder in die Abteilung Sendeanlagen eingestellt werden.
