Thank you very much. Shortly after, it got really wet. The thunderstorm approached incredibly fast... and after about 30 minutes, the blue sky was back in the same spot.

Go ahead.. The Augustusburg Castle is always worth a trip. Like the entire Ore Mountains....

Thank you very much. This storm was really impressive and the
volumes of water as well...
Best regards, Christine

Impressive. The early bird catches the worm, and here it even applies in terms of color.

Once again, an image that conveys more mood than it has pixels.
And proof that "good photo weather" only partially corresponds to the usual term "good weather".
Best regards

Great shot.
Everyone should have experienced something like this at least once.

Impressive! Was there a thunderstorm afterwards?

Great. How did you get the clouds there?

There was no thunderstorm here, but probably under these clouds in the area of the Swabian Jura. The two clouds on the right later merged in the anvil region, unfortunately I did not photograph this.
In this weather situation, such cumulus clouds often form over the uplands, here over the Swabian Jura. The Rems Valley runs east-west, while the Swabian Jura stretches from northeast to southeast.
This "tilt" is reflected by the clouds. If I could go 250 to 300 meters higher from this vantage point, the Albtrauf could be seen over the Schurwald heights visible in the picture.

Oh! A ship in the middle of the landscape!
But beautiful!

Thanks for the praise and the comments.
I classified the photo as a landscape image because the cutter is moving in the mudflats in front of Borkum. One must consider that the water depth is sometimes less than 0.8m and you could easily move around on foot there.

Wonderful! - as you can see, this mountain rightfully bears its name. What time is the sunset there? Greetings, Volkmar
