thank you very much for your comment. The sewage treatment plant had intrigued me for a while, as I had often noticed the glow of light there. When I checked out the photo spot, the tanks were in the fog, so you could really imagine that an object had landed there. Unfortunately, I only had a simple digital camera with me.

@Marina: On this harbor side that day, you look through the masts of 12 cutters. For the past 4 years, we have been spending a week now and then in Greetsiel "to let body and soul unwind." Before that, I had never had the luck to see so many cutters in one day. However, the chances for such an occurrence seem to be increasing, as more and more fishermen are choosing Greetsiel as their home port because Greetsiel, thanks to the Leysiel barrier (which is equivalent to a lock), is almost freed from the influence of ebb and flow and especially the danger of storm surges. P.S.: I am already looking forward to the Friesengeist, which is served in Greetsiel in the old Frisian way.

Thank you very much for your comment, Christine. I tried out several things for the series and then, after weighing options and following my intuition about whether to use a frame or not, I settled on this solution. For me, the color black does not automatically signify mourning, pain, etc. Normally, I rarely frame my images, but in these cases, I felt that the frames supported the pictures.

Ans Radfahren auf Hiddensee haben wir auch keine gute Erinnerungen. Während unseres Rügen-Urlaub hatten wir einen Tag Hiddensee eingeplant und um keine Zeit zu verlieren liehen wir uns nach der Ankunft direkt am Anleger Fahrräder. Man sollte sich die Räder besser aussuchen, die Quälerei während des Fahrens war das eine, die Schmerzen im Bereich des Allerwertesten an den nächsten 2 Tagen das andere Übel. Aber wir werden die Insel noch einmal für ein paar Tage besuchen, da es uns dort sehr gefallen hat.

Radfahren auf Hiddensee hat schon seine Reize, wenn auch die Strassen/Pisten/Wege mit Vorsicht und gerigner Geschwindigkeit zu geniessen sind. Wir waren mit unseren eignen Rädern hier, und sind nun von der guten Qualität der Schwalbe-Reifen vollauf überzeugt.

nur mit den eigenen Rädern werden wir Hiddensee noch einmal besuchen. Das eigene Rad ist eigentlich durch nichts zu ersetzen.

There was no thunderstorm here, but probably under these clouds in the area of the Swabian Jura. The two clouds on the right later merged in the anvil region, unfortunately I did not photograph this.
In this weather situation, such cumulus clouds often form over the uplands, here over the Swabian Jura. The Rems Valley runs east-west, while the Swabian Jura stretches from northeast to southeast.
This "tilt" is reflected by the clouds. If I could go 250 to 300 meters higher from this vantage point, the Albtrauf could be seen over the Schurwald heights visible in the picture.

Danke fürs Lob und die Anmerkungen.
Als Landschaftsbild habe ich das Foto eingeordnet, da der Kutter sich im Watt vor Borkum bewegt. Man muß bedenken, daß die Wassertiefe stellenweise unter 0,8m liegt und man dort sich auch bequem zu Fuß fortbewegen könnte.
