Sunset over the Saargau... 6 transmission masts of Europe 1, the French longwave transmitter (183 kHz), stand in Oberfelsberg. Here is one of the emergency masts (height 234 meters) at sunset. 12.09.2009 - Where the sun is just setting lies Thionville in Lorraine, and to the right on the horizon is the border with Luxembourg.

Worth seeing is the historic town center with the tithe barn and Scharfeneck gatehouse.
