thanks for the compliment. Although the fog had cleared up during the morning, the lighting conditions were difficult. We still really enjoyed the trip to Blaubeuren and now have a reason to come back...

Maybe the cranes were hoping for a warm winter and wanted to save the travel money. Now they are probably a bit frustrated but have still set off to the south.

Yes Christine, I also thought the cranes had long since gone, so I was all the more surprised when I heard their cries that day and managed to get outside with the camera just in time.

yes, the horizon did end up a bit tilted, but I still don't think we need to fear the Lac Léman running dry anytime soon...(Ha,Ha)!!

Hello Lawrence,
you are right, there is no risk of the Lac Leman overflowing in your picture. On the contrary, since the horizon lies slightly lower to the east, the lake could in this case still provide lake access to many places far into the Valais and also flood many.
The seagull on the fork is a regular visitor there and it is almost impossible to get a photo without the obligatory seagull. The photo is well done.

dieses " Kissen" ist mir so noch gar nicht aufgefallen. Mich hat einfach nur diese nebellose, klare Herbststimmung faszieniert, ist sie doch nicht allzu oft vertreten.

Sorry for the delayed response: The photo was taken in Paris in the small alleys near St-Michel. Nevertheless, in the cold season (months with an R) you can enjoy seafood platters in Vevey.
