An island...? Where does the water end and where does the sky begin?
Simply wonderfully seen and executed, Christine.

Good morning Jeanny,
where the horizon begins and the water ends is left to the viewer's imagination.
Thank you for the comment.

Hello Christine,
looks wonderful: the island, the light mist over the lake, and the snow-covered mountains behind it. Another great photo from you...

Hello Jens,
thank you for your comment.
We had the day off and thought we'd head out to meet spring a little. It was a beautiful spring day in Stresa, we really enjoyed it. The snow in the mountains will probably stay with us a bit longer than usual this year due to the amounts.
Best regards, Christine

A great first landscape photo, Florian! It is definitely an advantage on a day like this to hold your camera instead of your glass in your hand to take such shots.
Best regards
Stefan

Hello Florian,
you did a great job with the shot, I've been trying to achieve that for a long time. But it hasn't worked out so far.

THX for your praise!
I think I took 20 shots and twice a lightning bolt was visible...
It's just a game of chance.

Thank you very much.
Your pictures are really awesome too.
I have thought about that as well, but I'm not quite sure where to categorize the picture there.

Good idea, we could also use such a post this winter to measure the snow masses that Frau Holle has generously poured over us this year.

Hello Christine,
now that winter is over, get yourselves a thick drill and fix a trunk into the ground like that, have fun!
Thanks for the comment.
You can find these storm surge poles almost everywhere along the coast and on the islands/Halligen, it really changes your perspective when you look up there.

Hello Rüdiger,
The calm after the storm surprisingly settled in very quickly. When I drove down to the lake, I thought the water would still be more turbulent. But Quentin had already moved on faster than expected, leaving behind this atmospheric mood of nature.
