Hello De Rond Hans and Jeanny,
I also find this photo very beautiful. How do you do it? I have never experienced such a beautiful atmosphere as in the photo.
Best regards from Saarbrücken

Thank you for your kind comments, Manfred.
For photographing sunsets, we usually go to a slight elevation and then you just have to be patient. To prevent the images from becoming too bright, it is better to always underexpose a bit. Just give it a try.
Best regards to Saarbrücken.

Hello Marina,
your Hunsrück pictures seamlessly transition into the countryside landscape image near Bath, an interesting similarity.
However, I can't quite get used to your wide, dark border around the image. But on one hand, that's a matter of personal taste and on the other hand, it doesn't seriously detract from the enjoyment of your pictures.
Greetings from Lausanne
Stefan

Hello Stefan,
thank you very much for your comment.
The "comparability" of the photos probably results from the fact that they were taken during pure photo vacations. We spend hours driving around to enjoy the changing landscapes and find subjects to our taste and capture in photos.
Framing photos... a tedious topic. Unfortunately, my frames do not necessarily match the taste of the viewers... and often not even my own in hindsight. But for me, a "nice" frame simply belongs to the presentation of a photo on the internet. I actually find the black framing on this platform quite good to separate the photo from the white surroundings and to direct the viewer's gaze into the photo... maybe I'm just convincing myself of that. Either way... I dream of finding a standard frame for myself and my photos so that I don't have to worry about a supposedly suitable frame for every photo.
Best regards, Marina

So the picture is awesome, honestly I find it has good sharpness and background, very nice. Which camera did you use to take it? Cheers from Marcel (Blackskull)

Hello Marcel,
thank you very much for your kind comment.
We had fun like free birds trying to get such a subject in front of the cameras.
I took the photo with my Canon 400d and an 18-55 kit lens including a polarizing filter. Unfortunately, I left my wide-angle lens in the car to avoid carrying it around... which promptly got punished once again ;o)
Best regards, Marina

Hello Marcel,
For this photo, I imagine a hike or a bike tour through rural areas – I also think such images fit well within landscape photos.
Best regards,
Thomas

Hello Marcel,
Landschaftsfoto.eu has enough storage capacity so that punctuation marks do not need to be saved.

Hello Marcel, nice subject. Maybe you could have stopped down one or two f-stops more, it looks a bit gray now. If you crop the image at the top to remove the grid, the subject would, in my opinion, have a better impact. Regards, Helmut

Hello Marcel,
why did you capture a stationary subject with a relatively short exposure time of 1/200?

The problem is I’m not very familiar with it yet.
Because with the Nikon, it’s a bit
harder with so many settings compared to the Canon!
But I will follow your advice.
Okay, best regards

Thank you Hubert, I will take your advice into consideration. My aim will also be to photograph this target in midsummer and in autumn or winter, with snow.

Hello Manfred,
the remnants of snow look like receding waves of the sea.
Nicely observed.

Ah, spring on a hike, well it still has a bit of a way to go.
I like it a lot, Jeanny.
