vielen dank für eure tollen Kommentare, es freut mich das euch das Bild so gut gefällt. Wir hatten im Mai wunderbare Sonnenuntergänge auf Fehmarn. Bei diesem hier wehte ein sehr strammer kalter Wind die Wellen der Ostsee auf den Strand zu. Ich erinnere mich sehr gerne an dieses Naturschauspiel in Westermarkelsdorf auf Fehmarn.

In my opinion, only a close circle of candidates was suitable for the idea and execution... great job, Christine!
A few remaining (backlight) sun rays are still enough to cast shadows. Here you can see that even dark clouds – skillfully captured – can create beautiful photos.

Hello Thomas, these are goldenrods (Solidago). This genus from the Asteraceae family is very widespread (which is why some consider it a weed) and you should categorize the image under Galleries / Plants rather than under Hannover.
