Great late summer weather, but hardly a soul wanders onto the Black Sea beach in the resort town of Eforie (RO). Tourists are practically only from the domestic region. Once the holiday season is over, much of what has to do with leisure dies out here.

Deserted beach in the resort town of Mamaia, a district of Constanța (RO). Hard to believe that during the peak season, vacationers lie packed closely together here. There is practically no off-season on the Romanian Black Sea coast, as almost exclusively people from inland come and there is a lack of attractive flight connections.
All the more beautiful is the contrast: the sea almost belongs to you alone at this moment.
