TOWN OF BLANKENBERG with a history of more than 800 years..
Around 1150, Blankenberg Castle was built by the COUNTS OF SAYN on a high

View from the Niederoderbruch nature reserve (Barnim district) of the old and new ship lift, still under construction, at the eastern end of the Oder-Havel Canal, part of the Havel-Oder waterway.
Unfortunately, it was rejected on schiffbilder.de. Reason: Subject too much in the background. So I am trying my luck here.

IN THE WESTERWALD - VIEW FROM THE HEADFRAME OF THE "GEORG" MINE NEAR WILLROTH/WW.
Motorists on the A3 COLOGNE-FRANKFURT know the sight of the headframe of the GEORG MINE, an industrial monument, near DIERDORF/NEUWIED.... Unique views from above are available during guided tours with ascent of the headframe, here on 18.5.2019 with a view of the A3 motorway, the COLOGNE-FRANKFURT ICE railway line with an ICE train, and the SIEBENGEBIRGE mountains in the background.....
