Finally spring. Even though the winter was anything but harsh, one is already looking forward to the trees finally turning green again and the temperatures finally becoming "going-out-friendly" again. 7.4.2007

This house cat was sunbathing right in the middle of the street in front of my car and refused to move away. I photographed it through the windshield of my car because such audacity was worth it. In the end, I had to swerve.

Autumn walk with the Gerhard Hauptmann School in the background; for me, it is the most beautiful school building in Stralsund. Gerhart Hauptmann was born on 15.11.1862 in Obersalzbrunn, North Schleswig, and died in 1946.

Various music anniversaries last year - 200 years of Mozart, 40 years of the Jazz Festival - prompted the Montreux city gardening department to decorate the lakeside path with various musical instruments. Of course, musical notes were not to be missed either.

The Hintersee. This is how you see it when you walk through the Zauberwald from Ramsau. Simply wonderful. Summer 2000

On the Untersberg. From the summit cross to the cable car station, it is a simple walking path. However, to take precautions before the rapidly approaching weather change, we had to hurry here. Less than 2 minutes later, the thunderstorm started. Summer 2000

Also something very rare, a waterfall right in the middle of the town. Here in Bad Gastein, this fall is a normal occurrence.

Expansive landscape in evening Austria. Hallein lies in the valley, with Bad Dürrnberg to the left above it. Exactly behind the tree is Salzburg. Summer 2000

At the Edelweißspitze, the Edelweißhaus. These few "meters" up to this altitude, on the road still built in the older architectural style, are something special for us city dwellers. Summer 2000

The Franz-Josefs-Höhe on the Großglockner High Alpine Road. I took this photo with my analog film camera in four exposure levels. This one was the most effective. Summer 2000
