Even wastewater treatment plants have their beautiful sides..., a great image, Klaus, I like it.
Best regards, Jens

Hello Klaus
At first, in the preview image, I thought it was a close-up of Christmas baubles...
Best regards
Stefan

Hello Klaus,
I, on the other hand, am already set for spring: to me, the seed pods look like giant Easter eggs...
Great shot.
Best regards, Christine

Good evening Christine, Jens, and Stefan
Thank you all very much for your comments.
@Stefan and Christine: You both would have the same holiday decorations on the tree or bush for Christmas and Easter. ☺
Regards
Klaus

Hey Klaus, you really nailed the industrial behemoth! Absolutely brutal! Beautiful! I love stuff like that!

Good luck André,
I'm glad you like the picture. It actually sounds crazy, but someday such a shot will be a document of times gone by, as more and more heavy industry disappears from the region.
Best regards, Klaus

Well done, I really like it.
I was just recently thinking about where to go for sunset photos... the airport didn't occur to me.
Thanks for the suggestion and best regards, Marina

Hello Klaus,
if you just look at the picture without reading the description, you could actually assume that a UFO has just landed. ☺
Great pictures.

Hello Jeanny,
thank you very much for your comment. The sewage treatment plant had intrigued me for a while, as I had often noticed the glow of light there. When I checked out the photo spot, the tanks were in the fog, so you could really imagine that an object had landed there. Unfortunately, I only had a simple digital camera with me.

Klaus

What a hustle and bustle... great photo.
With that number of ships, I would be completely satisfied.

Many thanks to both of you for your comments.
@Marina: On this harbor side that day, you look through the masts of 12 cutters. For the past 4 years, we have been spending a week now and then in Greetsiel "to let body and soul unwind." Before that, I had never had the luck to see so many cutters in one day. However, the chances for such an occurrence seem to be increasing, as more and more fishermen are choosing Greetsiel as their home port because Greetsiel, thanks to the Leysiel barrier (which is equivalent to a lock), is almost freed from the influence of ebb and flow and especially the danger of storm surges. Currently, Greetsiel is home to about 25 cutters. Info: http://www.greetsiel.org/hafen/index.php
P.S.: I am already looking forward to the Friesengeist, which is served in Greetsiel in the old Frisian way.
Regards
Klaus

Good evening Klaus,
such a beautiful photo does not need a mourning border.
Best regards, Christine

Thank you very much for your comment, Christine. I tried out several things for the series and then, after weighing options and following my intuition about whether to use a frame or not, I settled on this solution. For me, the color black does not automatically signify mourning, pain, etc. Normally, I rarely frame my images, but in these cases, I felt that the frames supported the pictures.
Regards
Klaus
