The blue-flowering forage plant is Phacelia, also called bee pasture or bee diligence, used as a beekeeper's plant and as green manure.

Thanks for the tip. I have added it. Unfortunately, I am not very knowledgeable in botany.

Hello Armin,
I'm glad you like the shot.
The dryness last year at Lake Constance allowed for some photos that were no longer possible this year as the water level of Lake Constance is thankfully higher again.
Best regards
Christine

Well, the water level in 2018 was not as severe as the drought suggested. In September, the water level is generally somewhat higher, and lower water levels have also occurred in other years. In 2003, it was even significantly lower, and the envelope of historical records suggests even more extreme variations. Unlike other German bodies of water, Lake Constance was only marginally affected. Sensational news was more a wish of the press than a reflection of reality. Low water levels are always to be expected from January to March anyway. This also makes the hearts of collectors of Stone Age artifacts beat faster.

Hello Christine,
thank you for your kind comment, I am very glad that you like it.
Even though it looks "cold" here, the thermometer was back above freezing in the morning.
Best regards
Armin

Hello Reiner, once again an extremely expressive landscape image....yellow, green, brown at the bottom - gray-blue to
deep black in the sky....wonderful, regards Peter

Thank you Hans-Peter, not everyone likes such an edit, some insist that only the unedited image shows the world as it is, which I can only smile at. Just one example, concerning underexposure, the word didn’t exist before photography; for the human eye, nothing is underexposed unless there is no light. For example, your chapel—you surely saw it clearly and distinctly even from the shadow side? But the photo, due to the compromise, is not capable of that; in post-processing, these image details are made visible again. Ultimately, I want to bring the landscape closer to you as I perceived it. Sorry for the long digression ;-) Thanks again, best regards Reiner

This photo is very atmospheric, Hans-Peter. Snow pictures are rare here, as we usually don't have snow. Now let's hope for a nice summer, which is still far away at the moment ;-) Regards, Reiner

Actually quite a massive intervention in nature. But I have to say - it really looks good!

Hello Thomas,
I find the sheer size very impressive. The painting must also be regularly refreshed to prevent fading.

Hello Reiner, for me this is once again an absolutely fantastic landscape photo—these fantastic
cloud formations in the sky... it almost has something religious for me... ;-) Best regards, Peter

Hello Hans-Peter.
Actually, this trip was a bit disappointing, too little snow. Well, the sunset glow was not bad, but a photo with so little light is always problematic, handheld without a tripod. Therefore, you have to proceed carefully during post-processing. Thank you, regards Reiner

Great landscape photo... the contrast between the idyllic lake and the threatening clouds is
fascinating.....Regards, Peter

I'm glad to hear that, Peter. Normally, as here, I use interesting weather conditions; otherwise, I don't even set out. The rest (around 50%) is then post-processing. My originals are otherwise no better than those of other photographers. Have a nice evening,
Regards, Reiner
