there was only a gap here on the path because forward and back there were tall bushes (see shadows) and on the other side of the path there was also a fence, and you don't have much time because the rainbow fades quickly.

1) find a reasonably suitable photo spot,
2) set up the camera ... and not to forget:
3) you also want to enjoy this natural spectacle yourself.
I believe I’m not wrong in saying that I have never seen such a magnificent rainbow stretching from left to right down to the ground before. The colors were (at first) even more beautiful than in this photo.

Hello Helmut, in Torgelow (Hem) we only had cirrostratus clouds during the solar eclipse (images 1 & 2 from the left). At that time, I was able to observe the event from the warm apartment by the window.

I also really like this photo. We were less lucky; the sky was overcast from the beginning, only when we were driving home from Domodossola did the clouds clear for a moment and we could catch a brief glimpse of this event.

In the north of Luxembourg, there was dense fog all morning, and we had already given up hope of catching a glimpse of the obscured sun. But suddenly the cloud cover broke up a bit, and we both (independently) took advantage of that exact moment. A few minutes later, the sun was already so bright that photography was no longer possible. Our images were taken with regular cameras without filters, so they do not have professional quality.
We are all the more pleased that the shots are welcome at Landschaftsfotos.eu.
