The Vintgar Gorge was carved by the Radovna River up to 300 meters deep between the vertical walls of the Hom and Boršt mountains, is about 1600 m long, and ends at the 13 m high Šum waterfall. This waterfall has the greatest drop height of all river waterfalls in Slovenia. Photo taken: August 3, 2016.
