Ascent to Rigi Kulm on 20.07.2007 from Vitznau. The view goes through the windows of the railcar towards Lake Lucerne. The colors are somewhat strange; I suspect that the windows of the railcar filtered the incoming light. I haven't altered anything.

As already mentioned in my pictures of the Rigi railways on bahnbilder.de, the beautiful sunny weather on the Rigi changed abruptly on 20.07.2007 when a wall of clouds moved over the mountain. On one hand, it was a pity, but on the other hand, it was also a somehow fascinating natural spectacle. Fortunately, the clouds did not bring any rain.

Although the massive bank of clouds had moved away from Rigi-Kulm, it remained somewhat hazy, which did not favor the distant view. The Lake Lucerne can be faintly seen in the image. (20.07.2007)
