"And found my light in the vastness of nature," Painting, Diptych: Oil, oil pastel on cotton + wood, 2022, 107 x 291 cm Connection between macro- and microcosm; in the background, view from the Brocken at midday looking south and south-southwest over Königsberg, Wurmberg, Achtermannshöhe, Rehberg, mountains of the South Harz to the Thuringian Forest on the horizon, approx. 150 km away, and the Kassel mountains on the southwestern horizon, up to approx. 130 km away... With the diptych, I want to show the unity of the harmoniously designed organism of nature, but also the widespread forest dieback, especially of the spruce forest, since around 2018. But nature is our home, our origin, and our true wealth... 
