No. 153 - Schadenbeeksköpfe. Above the Siebertal are the Schadenbeeksköpfe. From here, there is a beautiful view over the Siebertal and St. Andreasberg towards the Wurmberg and Brocken. 

A storm is brewing over the northern Harz foothills. The thermals of the mountain edge catapult the moist air up to an altitude of 10,000m. At this height, intense hail formation occurred, which then fell over the Magdeburg Börde area and caused damage. 

No. 150 - Großer Knollen. The 687m high Großer Knollen is an ancient porphyry volcano near Bad Lauterberg. From the observation tower of the Knollenbaude, you have one of the most beautiful views in the Harz. For me, the Großer Knollen is the most beautiful stamping point of the Harzer Wandernadel. 

No. 218 - Norhäuser Reservoir. Built in 1904, this reservoir was the first Harz reservoir with a masonry dam. The reservoir holds 1.27 million cubic meters of water. Its distinctive feature is the very beautiful water intake towers, which are connected to the dam. 
