The tree stood unmistakably in the way. Bad luck One should be more careful speeding around Key West, even as a ghost witch. The supporting element, the broom, pushed through a hole in the tree, with black garbage bags, white paint, and all sorts of imagination, the witch was pressed flat against the tree, a successful Halloween subject. From SAMHAIN, the greatest Celtic festival, comes today the mostly Catholic-celebrated All Saints' Day. And, already waning, Halloween came back from the New World (brought there through the culture of Irish immigrants) to Ireland and Europe, carrying a commercial scent.
