Floating Hohentwiel. Looking over Lake Constance from Lindau from the stormy rainy weather into the sun-drenched Baden, a closer look reveals the mirage. The Hohentwiel is a floating island, and the Hohenstoffeln is just about to lift off as well. On the far left, the Seerücken in Thurgau also loses its ground contact, as does the Randen north of Schaffhausen, which is more in the haze behind it. If you look very closely, between the Randen and the Hohentwiel, there is no dirt on the horizon; here the Buchberg near Blumberg appears, along whose slope the Sauschwänzlesbahn snakes down to bypass the canton of Schaffhausen. View from the Chemin du Pasteur Frêne in Petit Val across to Souboz. What an enchanting place of tranquility, with the slopes of Moron on the right, for me a contender for the place with the best cheese in Switzerland... Right in the middle of this peace, two female hikers appeared, on their way to Santiago de Compostela. That evening they had started from Münster shortly before reaching their daily goal, the Bellelay Abbey. The high plateau of the Freiberge lies behind the viewer. Sornetan, July 2021.
