Perhaps for the non-European countries we can also stick to the continents.
For the final categories, the question arises whether to differentiate more by political boundaries, such as districts, or by contiguous landscape areas like the Thuringian Forest, for example. So far, I have used both options, depending on the case.
I think the photographers will also provide meaningful suggestions.
