Sun Garden, painting: oil, oil pastel, grasses, sand, wood on reinforced canvas, 2025, 205 x 200 cm. I conceived the image back in the mid-90s in Berlin based on a photo of a sunset over a lake in Potsdam. Through the wooden art gate I invented and the many flowers in the foreground, and finally the rendering of the light, it becomes a meditation image. I completed it in January of this year...
