The SIEG WATERFALL near SCHLADERN with the current winter flood on 3.2.2016.

The SIEG WATERFALL near SCHLADERN with the current winter flood on 3.2.2016.
North Rhine-Westphalia's largest waterfall is not of natural origin, but was created during blasting operations for the construction of the Cologne-Gießen railway line in 1857/58.
At low water levels, the tiered rock formations can be clearly seen,
but during the current flood, enormous volumes of water thunder down... truly impressive!!!
