Hallo Jeanny,
eine sehr gute Nahaufnahme eines Lauch (Allium). Diese Knospen sind noch sehr jung und damit ist eine eindeutige Bestimmung schwierig. Ich würde (ohne Gewähr) auf Knoblauch, Allium sativum tippen.

da machst Du mich aber verlegen.
Ich weiß furchtbar wenig und ich muß ständig in den Büchern nachsehen. Einigen wir uns bitte darauf - die Bücher wissen (fast) alles und ich bin nur Nutzer dieses Buchwissens.
Ansonsten wäre mir der Kommentar wirklich etwas peinlich.
Dennoch danke für das wohlgemeinte Lob.

Guten Morgen Karl,
sei nicht so bescheiden. Ich habe ja geschrieben " fast" alles.
Niemand weiß alles, es ist aber wichtig, wenn man weiß, wo man es findet, z.B. in den Büchern. Die meisten machen sich diese Mühe erst gar nicht.

Hallo Jeanny,
eine schöne kontrastreiche Aufnahme der Ufer-Winde, auch Ufer-Zaunwinde.
Die Pflanze hat durch den Wuchs weitere, recht lustige Namen in verschiedenen Regionen, wie z.B. Schlangenwenda (Schwäbische Alb), Bettseicherli (Geislingen, Göppingen), Regeblume (Schweiz, hier mit der Ansicht, dass das Abreißen der Blüten Regen bringe), oder gleich mehrere Begriffe in Ostfriesland: Düfels-Neigarn [Teufels-Nähgarn], Theeköpke [Teetasse] oder Pisspott; in Graubünden, Heizenberg nennt man sie: parvenglas; da die Blüte nur tagsüber geöffnet ist Dagblome in Emden usw.

Hallo Karl,
das sind ja lustige Namen für diese schöne und zähe Blüte. Im Schotterbett der Gleise war hier nämlich sonst nichts lebendiges zu entdecken. Darum glaube ich, dass sie den Unkrautvernichtungszug überlebt hat.

at this spot there is a bit more train traffic, but I let the train be. Watching the grey herons was far more interesting, and such an opportunity doesn't come every day.

this shot cost me quite a few nerves. It was pretty windy that day and the cornflowers kept moving, making it almost impossible to photograph a single one.

Hello Hans,
a very well-executed shot. I can understand the effort it took to photograph the bloom like this. Even a slight breeze can ruin the photo in a fraction of the exposure time.
I sometimes use strong sheets as windbreaks. During my plant observations, I always carry laminated (waterproof) quadrant cards, which help as wind protection in light wind.

Guten Abend Hans,
dieser roter Gast in deinem Garten heisst Lilienhähnchen und ist der verbreiteste Lilienschädling in Europa. Wie der Name schon sagt frisst er verschiedene Arten der Lilien aber auch Maiglöckchen , Kaiserkrone und Zwiebeln.Sie können sich bis zu drei Generationen ausbilden. Abhilfe geht nur duch regelmässiges absammeln von Larven(die findest du unter den Blättern und sind rot gefärbt). Sonst frisst der Käfer deinen Schnecken die Nahrung weg.

vielen Dank für die ausführliche Information. Landschaftsfotos.eu bildet, man lernt immer noch dazu. Dann werde ich mich mal auf die Suche nach diesen Larven begeben, ich will ja nicht, dass es unseren Schnecken schlecht geht. ;-)

Yes Stefan, that is probably what you call natural pest control. But Hans wouldn't be happy if the birds ate all the snails. After all, snails are among his favorite subjects.
