It is precisely the sparse light that makes the appeal of the image.

Very well observed, the two trees in this light!
However, I would have cropped a bit at the top.

Great shot of a fascinating weather/cloud situation!
However, I would have cropped the tree on the left.

That's what I call grabbing the bull by the horns, Matthias.
When I find a power line in my photos, I remove it because I find it distracting. This image proves the opposite and shows that power lines can also be decorative.
Best regards
Jeanny

Yes, most of the time the power lines disturb the image. But here I photographed because of the power lines, which cross so nicely.
However, the landscape at the bottom is quite limited in view, otherwise overhead lines of a railway track would have disturbed the image.

Good evening Matthias,
this village has often been the final destination of our hike along the Lötschberg South Ramp. Did you hike there on that day?
Best regards, Christine

Yes, on this day we hiked from Hohtenn to Ausserberg, with a detour into the Jolibach Gorge, one of the highlights of our vacation in Switzerland.

Great shot!
But where exactly is this?

This is the bridge over the Risøysundet. The strait separates Hinnøya from Andøya. The view shows the southern ramp of Hinnøya. Below the bridge is the Hurtigruten pier of Risøyhamn. In the morning, you can experience the arrival of the southbound ship from the bridge as it winds through the Risøy channel and then docks at Risøyhamn.

I don’t know how many times I have walked over the bridge. You can also nicely observe seals under the bridge. The image already evokes beautiful memories and much anticipation, as we are going to Stave in June for the Northern Gannet safari.
Best regards
André

The bridge is so high that a fully grown 17,000-ton passenger ship can pass underneath it during the Easter flood.

Sorry! The question was not answered clearly. 30 meters above sea level is the exact elevation.
Do you speak Norwegian? Here you have all the information:

The valley floor is now only present in fragments: If you look closely, you can see a four-lane highway, numerous power poles, and buildings placed in the landscape.
By the way, this is the view from our front door.

Hello,
Thank you for liking this picture:-)
It was taken on the way home from the SFS Stuttgart-Mannheim, between Vaihingen/Enz and Stuttgart on the B10.
Unfortunately, I don't know the exact location, but just before Stuttgart on the B10 coming from Vaihingen/Enz:-)
Landscape greetings,
Martin

One of the most interesting phenomena at Bryce Canyon is the way the light falls. Especially when rain clouds hang over the canyon and only occasionally break apart. I was lucky enough to experience this once. The first time in 2002 we had nice weather (on the one hand good, but on the other hand?!?), but on the second visit in 2006 we had varied weather with a great play of clouds and light.
A very beautiful image of a canyon that you can always rediscover!
