Hello Matthias,
the beautiful image looks very familiar to us.
Actually, we could all have met on Rügen if we had known that a large part of us is spending their holidays there this year. That would have been an idea too...
Best regards from Blonay

That would have been a great idea, Christine.
The island of Rügen indeed offers so many beautiful subjects that we certainly wouldn't have gotten bored.
By the way, I really like the picture, Matthias, as it shows the chalk cliffs from a completely different perspective.
Best regards
Jeanny

Hello Mathias,
it's nice to see pictures of the chalk cliffs "from above" as well. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to hike through the national park. Therefore, we took the lake route and photographed the beautiful coastline "from below".
Your pictures are also very impressive and invite one to take the high cliff hike.
Best regards from Luxembourg.

Hello Matthias,
an interesting and quite different city view of Nuremberg, I like it.

That's what I call grabbing the bull by the horns, Matthias.
When I find a power line in my photos, I remove it because I find it distracting. This image proves the opposite and shows that power lines can also be decorative.
Best regards
Jeanny

Yes, most of the time the power lines disturb the image. But here I photographed because of the power lines, which cross so nicely.
However, the landscape at the bottom is quite limited in view, otherwise overhead lines of a railway track would have disturbed the image.
Best regards, Matthias

Hello Matthias,
the whole thing already has something almost futuristic about it. These gigantic power giants and, in contrast, the small trees. What will it look like in our nature in a few years?
Best regards, Christine

An image completely to my taste, Matthias. I like it when the recognition and capturing of horizontal, vertical, and diagonal objects is executed so well.

Klaus

Good evening Matthias,
this village has often been the final destination of our hike along the Lötschberg South Ramp. Did you hike there on that day?
Best regards, Christine

Yes, on this day we hiked from Hohtenn to Ausserberg, with a detour into the Jolibach Gorge, one of the highlights of our vacation in Switzerland.

This is an autumn photo: colorful nature in the foreground and gray (residential area) everyday life in the background.

The valley floor is now only present in fragments: If you look closely, you can see a four-lane highway, numerous power poles, and buildings placed in the landscape.
By the way, this is the view from our front door.
Best regards, Matthias
