Start of the ascent to the Pravčická brána near Hřensko (CZ) in the Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland.
Unfortunately, the "forest" resembles a lunar landscape, as the coniferous trees fell victim to a major fire two years ago. It will take a long time before it looks like it did before.

In the Kirnitzsch Valley, northeast of Bad Schandau, flows the Lichtenhainer Waterfall – or what remains of it. Because of a heavy rainstorm in the summer of 2021, it was severely damaged. However, it is expected to be restored by autumn 2024.

Through the Schwedenlöcher: a gorge that leads from the spa town of Rathen to the Bastei. In many places, the rocks are covered with moss because the sunlight does not reach them. After storm damage, the path was closed for several months this year.
