The spa town of Kölpinsee is a real insider tip on the island of Usedom. In mid-June, the beach was not yet so crowded despite the summery temperatures.
The photo was taken at the Seerose Beach Hotel.

In Kölpinsee, a district of Loddin, there is also a lake of the same name. It is located just a few meters from the Baltic Sea.

Actually, the sunset over the Baltic Sea was supposed to be admired in Zinnowitz, but the clouds had other plans.

Another failed attempt the following evening to photograph the sun setting in Zinnowitz. It shone all day, only at the crucial moment it disappeared into the sea of clouds instead of the Baltic Sea.
