Our vacation in the region around Mittenwald started on the first day with great weather. Our two friends who prefer trains did not want to undertake the effort of a hike. However, we were rewarded on our 10 km walk, entirely on foot without any means of transport, with stunning views. After about 3.5 km, we reached Lake Geroldsee. View across the lake to the Karwendel Mountains and the Soiern Group. 05.10.2015
