wonderful shot, I especially like such idylls... even though the smoking chimneys do not bode well for the temperatures in April. My next vacation might lead to England. Wonderful that I can already get a first impression here.

Thanks for the comments; a rainy day, and instead of a scenic cliff hike, we took a bus tour – and once again I managed to capture an atmospheric image, one rarely found on a postcard.
By the way, we suspect the mouse hole is on the right side: a rather narrow harbor entrance...

Danke Antje für deinen Kommentar, es war eigentlich eine Spielerei mit den (Gegen)-Lichtverhältnissen und den glitzernden Wellen, und eine gute Übung, falls wir mal ans Meer fahren sollten...

Hallo Stefan,
solche Fotos gehören für mich zu den Königsdisziplinen des Fotografierens, da sich ratzfatz rosafarbene Reflektionen und/oder Sonennflecken einschleichen (bei meinen Fotos zumindest).

ich stöbere hier gerade in den Irland-Fotos. Im Mai gehts für uns das 1. Mal nach Irland. Kylemore Abbey steht natürlich auch auf dem Rundreise-Programm. Dein Foto sieht schon mal vielversprechend aus.

Yes, the train journey from Bray to Greystone is impressive, but even though the trains here don't travel fast, the trip passes by far too quickly.
Fortunately, there is a hiking trail...

Ein wolkenverhangener Himmel, in dieser Branche, verdirbt den Commerz;-))

den (fast) wolkenlosen Himmel hatte ich ein gutes Guinness später, genoss die Aussicht über die Galway Bay zu den Burren, bevor erneut Wolken und drohender Regen mich nach Galway trieben. eben irisch wechselhaft...

Guten Abend Stefan,
Hervorragend inszeniertes Naturgemälde!
Die gewaltige Brandung, macht die Ohnmacht des Menschen
bei einer Schiffshavarie, in der Nähe des Cliffs, glasklar.
Kann man schon mal im TV miterleben. Bei Nacht wird es dann zum Horror!
