Yes Stefan, that is probably what you call natural pest control. But Hans wouldn't be happy if the birds ate all the snails. After all, snails are among his favorite subjects.

Mainly in spring, the trees differ through the various shades of green, in summer this green then becomes more uniform.

Beautiful is the lush green, dreamy the pastel-colored sky - But well, the photos don't stink, or am I misinterpreting the three manure piles to the right of the tractor?
Anyway: pure rural idyll as a visual delight.

No, Stefan, you are not misinterpreting the manure piles, but fortunately I was quite far away and the wind was blowing in the other direction, so I didn't catch the smell.

The chance of a GREY MOUSE passing by is really very unlikely and would only disturb the cat's afternoon nap. A live mouse would certainly be a more welcome troublemaker for her.

you caught some bugs (Common Firebugs - Pyrrhocoris apterus). I can well understand the fascination. Last year, I spent hours collecting photos for a small collage about these sociable little creatures.

Well, Stefan, there is also the famous purple cow, so why not a "red-white-blue" cow!
I have wanted to photograph one for quite some time, but most of the time they were, as cows should be, behind a fence. When I saw this one last Sunday, I couldn't resist. ;-)
