Rarely have so many lightning strikes been recorded as over the weekend of 30.06./01.07.2012. According to a media report, over 150,000 lightning strikes were measured in just one night. I was able to capture one of them as it discharged over Crailsheim late in the evening on 30.06.2012. It was to be the beginning of a long night of thunderstorms... (go to image) 
