St. Michael's Mount on 15.09.2012. St. Michael's Mount is located in front of the small village of Marazion in Mount's Bay near Penzance, at the southern tip of England in Cornwall. In the 12th century, there was a Benedictine monastery here, a daughter house of the Abbaye du Mont-Saint-Michel in Normandy.
