Schnür Quarry, near Quinten on Lake Walen, Canton of St. Gallen. (The quarry has been closed since the end of 2012). The electricity works of the Canton of Zurich tested the construction of the largest photovoltaic system in Switzerland here, with a capacity of nine megawatts. (The project was abandoned after test measurements in spring 2017) - 21.08.2014
