Trolltunga (Norwegian for The Troll's Tongue ) is a horizontal rock formation in Norway, located about ten kilometers northeast of Odda on the Sørfjord. This rock is a roughly 10-meter-long ledge that tapers from a height of five meters at its base to just a few centimeters at the tip. The rock formation is situated approximately 700 meters above the lake Ringedalsvatnet. Photo taken: July 8, 2018.

The Folgefonna Glacier (Location: Hordaland - Norway) is not a remnant of the Ice Age. After the end of the last Ice Age, the ice retreated rapidly and the ice in the surrounding area completely melted away. It was only about 2,500 years ago that the northern part of the glacier (Nordre Folgefonna) reformed during a period of low temperatures and increased precipitation. With periodic variations, it had approximately the same extent as the current glacier. The other parts of the glacier have a parallel history.<br>Photo taken: July 6, 2018.
