Flight on 28.01.2008 past Mount Etna from the southeast towards the northwest, on the far left the road to the tourist spot Etna-South is visible, a winter ski area with two lifts that have been destroyed several times by eruptions. Above the steep slope, smaller craters are visible, also on the far left, as can be found all over the Etna massif, most at around 1800 m altitude.
