The Fehmarnsund Bridge of the Bird Flight Line, the largest coat hanger in the world, celebrated its 50th anniversary on April 30th this year and is a landmark of Schleswig-Holstein. But this doesn't seem to interest the sheep in the foreground at all; they prefer to take their midday nap. Seen on 03.06.2013 from Bargmöhl in Wulfen on Fehmarn.

At Flügger Strand on Fehmarn stands this memorial stone, where Jimi Hendrix gave his last concert on September 6, 1970, at the Love and Peace Festival, 12 days before his death. The festival also featured performances by Canned Heat, Mungo Jerry, Alexis Corner, Ginger Baker, and Rod Stewart, among others. It must have been an atmosphere like Woodstock; the weather was miserable and the festival organization chaotic. Photo taken on 07.06.2013
