Once Wilhelm I. ruled as King over the Kingdom of Prussia, from 1871 as Emperor over the German Empire. At Porta Westfalica, one of many Kaiser Wilhelm monuments was erected in his honor at the end of the 19th century. Today it is the landmark of the city of Porta Westfalica. (01.08.2011) 
