The first signs of spring also in the Heiderand area near Scheeßel, the dull gray slowly gives way to a delicate green. The clouds in April often create atmospheric images.
The Wümme weir near the watermill is also the provisional endpoint for canoeists. Those who paddle downstream to this point must get out on the other side of the road and carry the boat across the street; on the left in the picture are the steps where the canoes are relaunched into the water, only then can they continue their tour to Rotenburg. End of April 2021 
