Wilseder Berg in its winter coat. A very rare sight, white winters are scarce in northern Germany. When it does snow and the sun shines, you have to hurry, because then a footpath of at least 3 km lies ahead of us. Motor vehicles are not allowed in the Lüneburg Heath Nature Reserve. The nearest parking lots are located in Einem, Niederhaverbeck, and Oberhaverbeck. February 2021.

Here the Fintau is dammed up; it originates just a few kilometers from here near Reinsehlen in the Lüneburg Heath. From here it flows into the district of Rotenburg/Wümme, which begins just to the left behind the forest, all the way to Lauenbrück, where it merges with the Wümme. Late October 2020.
