View from Sønderkol in Rebild Bakker. The park was founded by Max Henius. The Dane emigrated to Chicago in 1881. In 1911, he had an area of around 77 hectares purchased. In 1912, he handed it over to the Danish state with the wish to preserve an honorable memory for Danish emigrants in the USA. Photo taken: May 22, 2023.
