At the foot of the Acropolis of Lindos, it is wonderful to swim and snorkel here, while a large part of the tourists struggle up the steep footpaths to the 116m high rock of the Acropolis. 

Jannis ran up to us at the Tsambika Beach on Rhodes at the end of May. The poor guy is about 4 to 6 weeks old, weighed only 2.5 kg, and managed to get us, with the help of the hotel manager, the veterinarian, and many helpers, to pull out all the stops to take him home with us. Here he is lying in our beach bag, which he immediately claimed, in the hotel room. 

A view from the airplane window during the landing approach to the island of Rhodes. The aircraft fly in a wide right turn over the sea to glide over the old town of Rhodes and then land at the airport in Paradissio. This sight can be very well enjoyed from the old town because the planes are already visible there at low altitude with their landing gear extended. 
