Summer idyll on the Isar: Not far from its source in the Karwendel Mountains, the Isar is still a small mountain river. In the center of the town of Scharnitz, located at almost 1000 m above sea level on the Austrian-German border, this view of the turquoise Isar was offered on the hot midsummer day of 05.07.2020, as it makes its way through the town towards Munich.
